Peccavi, Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Peccavi Estate is a small boutique vineyard located in the “sweet spot” sub-region of Yallingup in the north of Margaret River, Western Australia. With an international reputation for impressive Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines, as well as Bordeaux-style red and white blends, Peccavi is putting Margaret River in the spotlight as one of the Australia's premier growing regions. Taken from two plots of ex-Bordeaux Cab cuttings, Peccavi Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 has such a great depth of aroma; summer fruits with cassis at the forefront, some rum and raisin and a hint of chocolate. Behind this are fine layers of lifted flowers, nuances of a musk perfume that smells deep and rich. Structurally this is a powerful wine with an incredibly smooth texture and a wonderful mouthfeel that affirms the fine velvet tannins. The wine finishes with a great length and can be enjoyed now or for years to come.
